The QDS-30 MD is a unit that will detect counterfeit bills
through magnetic detection. Each bill has magnetic ink embedded
on the bill and this unit will detect if there is magnetic ink
present. If not, the bill is more then likely counterfeit. |
The QDS-30 MD+UV is the same as the QDS-30 MD except the
Ultra-Violet feature has been added for additional security. The
UV feature scans the bill for the strip that is in all currency,
and again if not present the bill is more then likely
counterfeit.

With both the MD and UV features you can pretty much rest
assured that all the currency that has been run through the
machine is good. However there is no guarantee that a bad bill
will go through sometime, only because the bad guys are always
trying to figure out how to beat the system. |
